The general government has begun its long session of meetings on September 16 and 18, has had a day of recollection the General Curia of the Missionaries of Consolada in Nepi (50 KM from Rome). The day has been an opportunity to pray in silence, contemplate the wonders of nature and our reality, enlightening with the Word of God. The confrontation between the announcement to Mary and the announcement to Zacharia with the words of Pope Francis to the consecrated persons and pastoral animators in Maputo (Mozanbique) inspired our prayer and a deep fraternal sharing
In this time of meetings we count on your prayers in a special way.
On the 12th of September, after having 3 moments of shared evaluations, we had the closing thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration presided by the Prior of St. Peter’s Church, Reus, Fr. Joan Anton Cedó. For this occasion Maria Gaitagoitia, the Provincial superior of the Province of Europe and Jolanda Hernic were also present.
It was a moment of recalling all what we have experienced and to thank God and all who were part of Evocando during this period. We were very much grateful to the community of Reus for their sisterly love and concern.
At the end of the mass, each of us received the certificate of Diploma as all are graduated from the Evocando. We shared our joy and happiness and at the same time, felt it is the time to separate from each other, and to go back to our respective communities to begin our ministries with renewed spirits.
We extend our special thanks to Ana Maria and Amilbia for their untiring work and accompaniment and all the sisters in the General Government. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to our Provincial and Delegation Superiors for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
May this experience bear fruit in His time!
Thank you dear sisters for each and every one of your prayerful support.
May God bless you!
"Do not worry. I have called you by your name, you are mine… with you I am ”. (Is 43)
On September 8 in the parish of San Domenico de Guzman Cinquina Rome, Celeste Maria form the Province of Europe has dedicated herself for a lifetime to the Lord in our family of Sisters of Mary Immaculate Claretian Missionaries.
We give thanks and praise to God and to Mary, mother and faithful disciple in the following of Christ.
With the presence of the referents of vocational youth ministry of the five institutions of the Claretian Family (Claretian Missionaries Sisters, Cordimarian Missionaries, Missionaries of San Antonio María Claret, Missionaries of the Claretian Institution and Claretian Missionaries cmf) and some young guests, the First Meeting of Youth Vocation Ministry of the Claretian Family is held on the level of America at the Claret Center in Talagante, Chile, from 2nd to 6th of September.
In this meeting the listening of the realities the youth is facing has been prioritized. The first two days the emphasis is on the youth of our pastoral centres. Within the program, there has been an illuminating moment with the presentation of the Salesian priest Erick Oñate Jorquera, with the theme “Looking at our experience of Accompaniment in Youth Ministry”. The third day we share the walk of each entity, its searches and findings, from the projects and plans with the youth and their vocational discernments. This first meeting aims to draw lines of action and shared paths that respond, with the sizzling fire of the common charism of Claret, to the work of the vocational youth ministry in Claretian Family.
“THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S AND THE FULLNESS THEREOF, THE WORLD AND THOSE WHO LIVE IN IT” (Psalm 24: 1-2).
Every year, from September 1st to October 4th , is the “Time of Creation”
This year, 2019 the theme is: “The web of life: biodiversity as a blessing from God”. The well-being of humanity depends on ecosystems in all its variety and it is God himself who gives value to each creature in its specificity, created by Him.
We recognize the unique value of each creature in the web of life; wonderfully complex, woven by God and we celebrate the bonds we share with each other and with “every living creature on Earth!” (Gen 9,10).
Care for mother earth must also be a priority in our hearts through concrete plan of actions. Mother earth has been devastated with abuse, misuse and lack of concern. The question is necessary: What can we do?
All of us can cooperate as instruments of God, for the care of creation, each according to his or her own culture, experience, involvements and talents. ( no. 14 Laudato Si )
"And you, what do you commit to?"
